Pre-filing Mediation program
An alternative way to resolve many types of dispute.
We aim to help you resolve your dispute without recourse to the Courts, by mutual agreement.
A neutral mediator will help you resolve your issues.
Over 75% of cases are resolved by mediation, this is an opportunity for both parties to take control of the situation, rather than wait for a Judge to tell them what will happen.
Pre-filing Mediation attempts to resolve a dispute before filing a claim in Court. You may still file a lawsuit in this matter if it cannot be resolved through mediation.
All discussions regarding this matter will be held in confidence by the Pre-filing Mediation office.
No party to the mediation may reveal or record any communication with the mediator to others including a Judge unless required or permitted by law.

COST
For cases of less than $5,000 the mediators services are free,
but you are requested to help cover the cost of the program by making a contribution of at least $30.
For non financial disputes please make a donation according to your abilities.
